Oregon moves into top five in week three college football rankings

Following a solid win over Ohio State (1-1), the Oregon Ducks (2-0) moved up to number five in our Savvy Index week three college football rankings. With the loss, Ohio State dropped to tenth.

While Alabama (2-0) remains in the top spot, Georgia (2-0) displaced Notre Dame (2-0) as the second ranked team in America after Notre Dame’s poor showing against Toledo.

Iowa (2-0) is now ranked fourth after successive wins over top 25 opponents, Indiana and Iowa State.

Texas fell 14 places to 24th after a stifling loss to Arkansas. Oklahoma State (2-0) and USC (1-1) dropped from the rankings after poor showings and that made room for idle UCLA (2-0) to move into the top 25 as did Liberty (2-0) after its better-than-expected win over Troy.
